  While traveling, I'm often amazed with the quality level of restaurants stated to be amazing. Most of the times, they're not. This is one of the exceptions though!

  Years ago, it must have been around 1995, I visited Québec with friends, and one of our stops was Tadoussac. We wanted to see the whales, and on the way to the harbor we passed this colorful restaurant, and we decided to have dinner here later that day.

  From the outside the restaurant looked a bit like a pancake restaurant in our country, so we were totally knocked of our chairs by the quality of every dish we had.

  Not the most impressive interior (and don't get me started about the ferry tale exterior), but you will completely forget the outside when meals are being presented, one awesome plate after the other.

  We had the best seafood dinner in a long time. The service was very good. I had a seafood dish with a citrus sauce on basmati rice and it was melt in your mouth delicious! My husband had the cod and loved it. We had an amazing appetizer " Assorted sea food from the St. Lawrence" which we both loved. The entrees were paired with a wine which I enjoyed. I had a perfect creme brule for dessert. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Prices were quite reasonable.

  I have no idea any more what exactly we ate, but everything was so formidable that I still remember our superb evening. I just remember the chocolate waffle that accompanied the desert.
